Meet Cynthia

Cynthia Barlow has spent more than 30 years teaching Spanish — at universities across the U.S., in immersion programs in Mexico, and at teacher training workshops throughout Texas. She's co-authored three Spanish textbooks for McGraw-Hill and most recently consulted on the latest edition of Punto y aparte.

But what you'll notice first isn't her résumé. It's her belief that learning Spanish should feel less like school and more like sitting on a porch with a good teacher who's genuinely glad you're there. That's the energy she brings to every Charla, every lesson, and every check-in.
